Info: Lori Heerey was born and raised in Marion and is a 1980 graduate of Marion High School. She and her husband Doug have two children, Adam and Kayley. Lori received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Friends University in 1984 and received the Outstanding Education Major award. Upon graduation, Lori lived in Wichita and taught school in the Maize School District for 8 years. In 1992, Lori and her husband moved back home to Marion to raise their children in the small town setting. Since returning to Marion, she has been a stay-at-home mom for 6 years and a substitute teacher in the Marion School District for 6 years.
